On average companies lose 7% of their overall revenue to fraud! This clearly shows that the cost of fraud far outweighs the investments that need to be made in order to prevent or at least minimise the risk of corporate fraud. Beacon’s “Corporate Fraud Investigation and Prevention 2010” conference will feature the latest techniques, strategies and technologies needed to successfully reduce the risk of fraud.

Welcome

Ethical Beacon's first Corporate Fraud conference in Singapore was a big success. Over 50 delegates from international organisations across the world, from the UK to Singapore to Afghanistan debated for 3 days about the best approach to curbing Corporate Fraud. One of the highlights enjoyed by the participants were our pre-conference workshops that offered an in-depth view on some of the key issues around corporate fraud analysis and detection.

Some of the key features of the conference included:

  • An analysis of the Satyam Computer and Madoff Investment Securities fraud cases, featuring original data and documents
  • Round table panel discussions  discussing the most common types of fraud in Asia
  • A discussion on best practices for tracking and investigating fraud
  • A detailed session on carrying out employee interviews

I hope you will join us again for Ethical Beacon's next conference focusing on Anti-Corruption efforts in China. The 3rd annual Anti Corruption China conference is taking place 27-29 April in Shanghai, China. Visit www.AntiCorruptionChina.com to learn more.
